Testing ABS sensors with meter, can someone confirm??

While driving for a bit, my ABS light comes on and stays on until i restart the car. i suspect it may be the wheel sensors. the car has close to 280,000k's. im gonna go to the junkyard tomorrow to replace them and see if it helps, but my question now is, i dont wanna get another faulty sensor, is there a way to test them with a ohm meter. i read on the here on the org that if i test the two wires it should be a reading between 1650-1800 if i read the post right. But can someone confirm this???

your wasting your time. Do you know how many different things could cause a light to come on? Scan it first, then go from there.

If you scan it and it has a fault for the right front wheel speed sensor, ohm out the right front and left front and compare... if its off by quite a bit from side to side and the the fault is for the right front, then chances are the right front is bad.
