Hey man I brought these same KYB for my 2000 cavi they work great, from the same seller and the price is good, you wont find any cheaper on the internet. to my understanding your not supposed to put different springs on these struts since the struts are just a lil better than oem . I heard any other springs other than OEM will break the struts. so I left my springs stock, you can always paint them while they are off.

if I were you either get better struts or leave the springs alone.

1) skunk2 springs arent the best with their high spring rates and lower the car 1.7".
2) kyb gr2s are oem replacements.
3) since the spring rates are very high for our cars you will need a very good strut to even have some what of a comfortable ride

no the skunk2 springs arent great. in order to get any decent ride out of them you will need dspecs or konis. anytime you lower past 1.5" your looking to spend alot more money. agx's are only warrantied up to a 1.5" drop, putting springs lower on that will void kybs warranty and is pretty much a waste of your money when they blow.

No. look for a smaller drop. 1.5" or less. or look into dspecs or koni yellows if you have your heart set on the skunks.

I didn't know Skunk 2 made springs for our cars.

i didnt know they made them either til a few months ago. im under the impression they just made a spring and slapped a sticker on it. i dont think any real testing went into it.

if you want to spend that much you can. depends on how low you want to go. eibach prokit and kyb agx struts is a good combo and it can be had for about 500 but it only drops your car 1.4". if your looking to go lower then what you linked is good. tokico dspecs are a very good strut and easy to install.

im running the tein ss with edfc controller.
