Have you measured the gap between the bottom of the fender and the top of the wheel to see how much the car has actually dropped?
I believe its a 1.4inch drop all around so its not going to drop that much although you should notice a difference. But i suggest just taking a tape measure or something and measure the distance as i said above just to check.

I just installed the pro kit and it dropped it much more than i thought it would. My front tires are actually one finger off the wheel wells.

I did mine last summer and I think it looks like it is lower than is said it would drop it, but I am going to measure it agaist my brother in laws and see what the difference is, taking into consideration I have alot of @!#$ in my car right now, but it is lower than I thought too.

does it usually sag some or not usually?

i do know there was an issue some time ago with the Pro-kits sitting too high with the 2.2 OHV (search the archive), supposedly that's been fixed though

I too was pleasantly surprised by the drop I received from the Pro Kit / AGXs. I wish the rear was a tad lower though . Here's a decent picture showing the drop on my '02 2200 Sunfire Sedan (I don't know why but the front and rear looks even in this picture, in reality the rear is ever-so-slightly higher):

Ok so this is a really stupid question and I feel like acomplete noob and moron with cars even though I am not this dumb but here goes. I bought my eibach Pro Kit used and will be installing them soon but was worried which was up with the springs. My guess is that they are upright if the Eibach logo is upright and the tighter coils should be closer to the car? Please help and sorry to thread jack but the Stripped got me to ask.

Here's a picture of my Pro Kits and AGXs all put together:

They were put together by my mechanic so they better be correct .

Great Mechanic! the rear spring is not installed correctly. You should see the Eibach logo upright. Closer Coil should bee in the upper of the strut, like your front ...

yep, the rear springs are upside down. the end of the spring should fit in to the notch on the perch and that is not possible with the 'closer' coil where it is at right now.

J to Envy-

That really is an awesome setup. You did a great job with it.

I was kind of wondering if they were on right after looking a little closer at that picture because I noticed that the closer coils on the front springs are at the top. I guess I won't be going to that mechanic any more .

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I will be having the alignment place re-install them the right away when it goes in for an alignment.

Sarcasm? If not, thanks!

If so, @!#$ off! My dad has known this mechanic for a long time and I thought he could be trusted to put them together properly, obviously I was wrong. I haven't had any problems with the suspension so far so no harm, no foul. As I stated earlier, it will be getting fixed immediately.

Okay then. Thanks ! I thought you were maybe being sarcastic since the rear springs are installed wrong .

it looks good bro. im still not sure what kit i want to go with. I have an 04 sunfire and the rear sits higher, so i want a kit that balances the car evenly. like a 1.8 drop front and like a 2.4 drop rear.

i have the prokit on both my cavs, (well one cav is sold).

i love them springs. not low enough to be scraping on everything, but lowers it enough to look good.

the springs will settle a little lower over time. i had them on my first cav 7 years ago, and put them on my 02 ls sport 5 years ago.
