hey everyone .. i picked up a used air ride kit and front 2 leader hoses are leaking i was just wondering if i can just hard line them and just put a fitting right on the bottom of the bag just like the rears have?
well the front struts twist as you turn the wheel so no you cant hard line them. but if i recall right new leader hoses are like 30 or 40 bucks or something.
would u know how to find some
i thought jason at airbagsource could get them but his site is not working right now i dont think
i bought them thru easystreet (airliftcompany.com) and i got them for 20 a piece.
Try suicidedoors.com, Thats where i got all my air suspension for my 69' Chevy.
I believe they are available only through easystreetair.com directly. I don't have access to that specific part, as it's a replacement piece.

yea thats true. i dont even think its listed on their site. you will have to call and ask them about it.
thanks everyone i got a hold of easystreet and they were $17.** each so thanks again
sweet i have to order me one also i guess i will do this sometime soon
Jason/SD has them listed on the site, forgot the amount but I know it was cheaper than the above when I had ordered 2 of them.
They're made by EATON.
The last I looked on SD all they had were the Viair leader hoses for the compressors, I couldnt find any for the front bags but then again I could have easily over looked them...and Joe when are we gonna hang out and roll my fenders lol
i used viair leaders for my fronts, worked quite nicely!
watch for flying sparks!!!
i made my own and they were better then the orginal ones
....i still need 4 compressor hoses though...mine leak on all the swivels
and that will cost like 80 bucks unless anyone knows where i can get them for cheaper then $20 bucks a piece? sorry for the thred jackage..

That's what I ordered and when I had received them they were the identical leader hoses for the front struts, no swivel or anything, identical.
Just let me know when on the fenders
.
so the viair leader hoses WILL work on our fronts. just making sure. cuz i would rather give my money to SD
Well in my case yes, when I ordered
these from SD expecting a swivel type Viair hose for the compressor I indeed received both leader hoses, both Eaton identical to the ones Easystreet sends with the front struts. So unless my order got messed up that's what came. I honestly believe they were drop shipped from Easystreet as they arrived next day (I'm in MI) but I do not recall.
Hope I helped.
im not sure if the viair ones you guys are refuring to are the ones that go to the compressor and can also be used as leader hoses or what? but i thought the compressor ones had a built in check valve in them..i could be wrong but im almost sure they did..

That's what I thought I was ordering, but when received they were the identical leader hoses found on the struts, no check valve, no swivel heads.
you can get em w/o the check valves.
watch for flying sparks!!!
could i use hoses on my compressor that dont have check valves? i was just wondering..
You could but I wouldnt, a check valve wont do anything but help, and since its an added safety, why get rid of it? I dont know exactly what all will cause a compressors piston to fail, but im sure having air pumped through it the wrong way cannot be good for it any way that you look at it.
i still wants to know what makes a piston fail cuz ive fried 2 450 pistons
Im on my second 380...crosses fingers haha I wish I knew what caused my last one to fail because then I Would fix the -damn problem,
