... and I'm pretty sure that I would rather hammer rusty nails through my toes than do that again.
Im sry
99z for 2015.. I'm back bitches
eh it's not that bad... i did my addco front by myself.
you'll love the difference in the car though... it's ALL worth it.
I've done it twice now, so I know how ya feel. ... buts still worth the work though, and te second time it went so much faster.
once you figure out to put the bar in backwards and flip it its cake.
Well, I went from no sway bar (base of the base models) to an FE1 bar, so it's not a huge difference. It's especially not as noticeable since I have a set of blown-out stock struts and winter tires. But, I do notice a little improvement. So, it's all good.
Cinny, how do you install it backwards? I tried putting it in every way possible, but I ended up having to unbolt the tie-rods to swing the bar down and get it in there.
I'm looking for an Addco or Eibach rear bar as the next "cheap and easy" mod
Probably a set of AGX's on stock springs, too
go in from as far back as you can to snake it to the other side then roll it over. did you unhook the little rubber exhaust hangers?
LoL well my locals and I got sent the wrong bar for my car, and we got the Addco S-10 sway bar up front, but it didn't line up... I was like I'm going to kill Summit. There is a way to put it in easy after we got done we found out how to do it perfect, but yea I don't want to do it again.
yeah im about to install my addco front sway bar. any tips to make the job easier? do i have to remove a lot of stuff. or could i snake it in there?
paitence is key. I had to put it in twice becuase the first tome my friend helped me. he left i realize he put it in wrong and had to be put it back in. i have eibach front and rear.
I did it the easy way.
I took out the whole motor and trans when I put my sway bar in.

Its much worse on the OHV models with the exhaust downpipe going under the subframe. I my addco out of my OHV in into my eco pretty quickly. As mentioned, patience is the key. Watch clearances though, I ended up breaking a clip in the CV boot on the OHV because the addco endlinks seemed to "long" I cut the spacer and used a smaller bolt when I moved it to the eco.
I can do one in about 30 minutes now going full tilt. I installed mine upside down the first tome.
Pulled it out and flipped it around correctly in under 30.
