Am I right to assume this solid strut mounts should be much stronger than oem? Yesterday I replaced a front strut mount it was a KYB, and found out that the strut itself is fried too so i will have to order a new AGX although not sure yet if it will be better to check the other side so if it is fried too then get a stronger pair of struts, what do you guys recommend? Also I do not like the KYB mount system with that thin bearing it wonŽt stand the holes in our roads also do not think they will hold very well on heavy cornering.Guess what I need is a rally suspension, too bad I have not found who sells it. Any advise greatly appreciated.
the 95-99 mounts are a better deal in the end because you can replace that bearing at a nice savings. the 00+ mounts are solid, but you have to replace it all when they go, and they are not cheap.
if your going to replace a strut do it in pairs at the very least, example do both front shocks, not just one side.
Agree it makes sense to replace by pairs, but my struts are about a year old and one is bad cause a huge hole in the street fried both mount and strut passenger side, anyway on monday my friend is going to take out the other side so if needed IŽll replace the pair, Thanks.
