hey guys i am new to this site

i have a 96 Sunfire and i am planning on lowering the car . i have the stock GTX 15 inch rims with 195/65R/15 inch tires . i am planning on buying a set of springs off my a buddy of mine they are springtech and the set he has is 1.4" drop .

so my question is with them stock GTX rims and tires can i put them springs on without a scrubbing issue ? or its way too low .


please help me out guys as i dont know much about lowering cars.

yes its fine. be sure to upgrade the struts too or else it will start to ride like crap in a few months. a set of kyb agxs will go nice with a 1.4" drop.

oh ok thanks man for your info . i just went and baught them so in the future i plan on getting them struts .

Get them sometime soon. I bought my car with cut springs on stock struts, you don't want to feel what I feel every time I hit a pot hole... or a speed bump.. or a rock.. or pebble...
