Any answers to bad strut problems???
Tuesday, May 29, 2007 8:15 PM
Ever since I installed my new Tokico HP my rear struts blow like once a month. I don't get it. Has anyone found a way to keep this from happening less often then usual? I'm getting really frustrated. I read to use the 95-99 mounts. Has anyone tried this?

You need to either get back to stock ride height to stop blowing the HPs, or shell out for some Koni Yellow or Tokico D-Spec struts.

Sorry the pictures are old. My car hasn't been lowered in years. I meant to put "STRUT MOUNTS" that keep going bad. My struts are fine.

well the 95-99 mounts are 100x better in my book since they are a 3 piece mount. i dont know how your going through mounts every month. if the bearings are going bad, atleast w/ the 95-99 mounts you can change out the bearings instead of buying a whole new mount
