can anyone explain a process of how your change out a single stud? sorry if this doesnt belong here but it seemed like the most logical place.
Step 1: Remove wheel, caliper, and rotor.
Step 2: Notice the cut-out on inner hub. Spin outer hub until stud you want to remove is lined up with hole.
Step 3: Smack the hell out of said stud until it comes out.
Step 4: Smack the hell out of new stud until it goes in.
Step 5: Reverse Step 1.
search wheeld stud and there is a write up by frank
Heres what I do at work
Take a hammer and smack the old stud, it pops out.
You need to two lugnuts to install the new one, one to actually use, the other one will get wrecked.
Put the stud in the hole and put a washer on it to,screw the lugnut on, as far as it goes, so it is as far as iit goes, and is up against the washer. Now take an impact gun, and hammer on the lugnut, do this until it sits flush against the back of the hub like the others do.
Remove the used lugnut, trash it.
install heel and lugnuts
