The site says the bar doesn't fit 2.2L? Can anyone explain?

The exhaust comes through where it needs to be mounted.

So is there anyone else who has a solution for the clearance issue? Or should I consider a custom setup?

Well I ran into the problem of the exhaust also..but I have a pacesetter header so the downpipe is also larger piping. I started by spacing it with washers. So far I've put 3 washers inbetween the bar and the subframe, it seems to help for a little while...but then I hear the bar and exhaust rubbing. So us ohv guys are going to have to either fab a bar that clears or fab some spacers that will still allow the bar to do it's job while not damaging exhausts.

Maybe a complete set of solid engine/tranny mounts would keep the engine from rubbing, but I only hear mine rubbing around 3000 rpms and with a conservative throttle.

Yea I thought the $ was too, but it doesn't fit anyway ...Oh well, guess I'll have to go custom.

Does it fit the ECOtec? Or is the only engine it not work with the LN2?

Check the link at the top of this page. I belive it doesn't fir the ecotec, it doesn't specifiy any other engines.

I have seen this product before, in the RKSport catalog I have at home. The LD9, and L61 both have the exhaust manifolds on the back, and the brace should clear, rather easilly, the L61 oil pan. The LN2 has the exhaust on the fron of the block, which is why the brace doesn't fit that engine.

I have a 2.2 cavy, I went with some custom made subframe connectors......highly recomended. noticed MAJOR increase in handling.

Maybe this will stop my MAJOR torque steer. I can, and have, change lanes just by giving it more gas. I'm thinking its the poly bushings I put in.
