you can use your stock ones but i would DEFFIDENTLY suggest you buy new struts made for lowering. i know from experience. i am on gr2's with dropzone springs and it rides like a brick. i feel like a bobble head so i would deffidently invest in some new lowering struts.

trust me you dont want kyb gr2s. all they are is a stock replacement really. not really sure if you can get at autozone or what not. but i am pretty sure they sell them on gravana or something. i personally would not buy them though if i were you. i just dont want you to make the same mistake i did.

kyb also makes the agx which is an adjustable lowering strut capible of springs up to 1.5" of drop. anything lower that 1.5" should be koni yellows or tokico dspecs. also imo if you get coilovers, just get either the yellows or dspecs.

you could get away with using agx's then. i really wouldnt go lower than 1.6" though on agxs.

KYB AGX struts would be the cheapest struts for doing it right. Anything cheaper would be a stock replacement strut, and a risky prospect for lowering of any amount.

More than I would pay, but not surprising for a brick and mortar retailer. I would take a look at eBay, even though it's not a completely fair comparison since eBay sellers can often keep their costs lower, and may not come good for warranty issues.

Here are some on eBay.

You'll notice that a complete set of four can be had for as little as $350. Even the top-dollar sellers are looking for less than $150 each. So yeah... $185 each is a bit steep.
