did a search didnt see what I was looking for...

to put a rear one on the 03 4dr,

1. do I have to remove the carpet junk on the sides?

2. Can I keep the seats up?

3. Does all the plastic junk along the edge of the seat backs still fit?

4. Is that something I can do alone? Id say my car knowledge is slightly above average, but Im no expert and Ive never done anything like this before

5. any tips or hints that I should know before attempting this?

Follow this link, fourth picture down shows the strut bar installed. I know you can have you rear seats in the upward position since the brace won't be that close to the seats. I've never installed one yet, tho it's on my list to buy. I think you have to move the carpet and plastic to get to them, but by the picture it looks like you can still keep them there. I think the only thing i've heard that's confusing is theres a bolt or lugnut that doesn't unscrew from the top. I'm sure someone can help answer the rest of your questions soon.
