First off I have a 2001 z24...are ebay strut bars junk? They are really cheep and kinda have me worried as far as strength. Also I have read about issues with cruize control, what is the issue?
I didn't have any problem with my Vibrant one. If need be, you can bend the bracket for the cruise control and it'll be fine. I have one for sale if you are interested

some cars have the cruise module on the strut tower, others have it on the firewall.

i got a front and rear set from ebay.. ive got a 00 z24 and the front one fit fine... but for some reason the rear one didnt fit.
The seller said to ship it back so they could check it.. but i only spent 30 on the whole thing so i didnt want to spend another 15-20 to ship it back to them just to find out its the right one and have to pay to have it shipped back.
but im happy with the front bar in.. it works quite well.. i could definatly tell the difference.
i have the freedom design bar. it is really nice!

If you have the 01Z then you won't have a cc issue.
Its mostly for the Ecos.
Buts its still not really an issue, just move the thing over or bend the bracket down.
But the ebay bars are as good as any.
May not be as pretty as the other name brand bars though.

i had a ractive one. exactly the same as the ebay ones. had issues with it rubbing the hood, but thats because i could angle it right due to my weapon-r intake on my 2200. any other engine should be fine. i have the gm/rksport one now and like it alot better.
