Hey, I have this Rk tie bar for the subframe brace.. I just got under there to check the mounting points and this is gonna be a tight fith with my 4spd auto tranny.. Anyway, it hangs real low and im scared to drive it like that since Im on coilovers.. The tie bar will hang lower than my exhaust I think..
Do any of you guys have this tie bar and are lowered? Im sure you do, im just looking for your experiance with this being lowered..
I have coilovers, I dont wanna limit how low I can go just because of this subframe brace aka tie bar..

i made my own with 1x1 square tubing and it will hang a little lower then the exhaust, im only ont he koni kit so not much of a drop, ill just have to not strattle any bumps anymore is all im planning on. should be worth it though. about ill ican suggest

You seem to be talking about a subframe brace, but I'm not sure.
My subframe brace is designed in such a way that the majorify of the bar is between the mounting points rather than hanging below them.
It's a sub-frame brace. Not a tie bar. A Tie bar goes on the rear axle, not the front.
Ok, sorry, subframe brace then.. Ill just have to install it and see how low it really hangs before I drive it lol.

I have the RK SFB and i'm lowered on B&G's, I have hit HARD several times and it is fine, bolts are fine, and it hasnt bent or anything. It does hang pretty low, to the point that it drags on gravel roads sometimes but as long as you remember that it is hangin there you can drive accordingly.
