I was told when I bought it that is was an RKsport brace. Obviuosly it is not. I could make on better than this one as well. However I agree. It is just not really worth it to make one when you can buy it for $70.00

I thought this Ken whatever his name is was making them at one time. I was wondering if it was one of his.

Don't insult Ken by saying that's one of his. That's the work of a scam artist...and you just got taken.

I did not say it was one of his. I said I was wondering if it was one of his. I have never seen one he made. It was not the work of a scam artist. I bought it from someone who is young and had no idea what he really had. I should have asked to see pictures but at this point it does not really matter.

If he didn't know what he had, why did he say it was an RKSport brace?

I call that a scam. If you don't know, making something up is not the answer.

I wouldn't put that on my car. The subframe brace ends up being one of the lowest points on the car and most are designed to be as high up as possible because of that.

That's going to hang rediculously low.

As said... it's just a bar with some bolts through it.

I am glad that you know better than I do when I have been scammed. NOT Neither one of you know much at all about the details of this deal. You do not know what other things I bought at the same time that were quality. You do not know what I paid for everything. You do not know anything about the person I bought this from.

Now to set the record straight. The kid I bought this from was 16 years old. He did not ever put this on. He did not even know how install it. He was told when he bought it it was an RK sport. He offered to refund me some money. I told him no becuase I still got the better end of the deal because of the what he sold the other stuff to me for. When I turned his partial refund down his mom emailed me to make sure I was alright with the deal.

Congrats on opening your mouth when you don't have all the facts.

thats a home made one, the kid that you got it off of got scammed because whoever he got it off of told him it was a Rk Sport bar then he passed the scam on to you, you got scammed indirectly

And your sig is huge

I NEED A 00-02 SUNFIRE RK SPORT REAR LIP AND A 95-99 SUNFIRE WW FRONT LIP PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF U WANNA SELL!!

That thing probably cost the kid 10 dollars to make.

1 fix your sig , the allowed dimensions are in the area you enter the url at , also there is a test button to see if its with in the allowed size

2 its just a cheapy made bar

3 the CFX brace prob hangs down lower since it was mounted on a plate where the bolts go

4 rk sports is red , as is most of what rk sells similar to that

^^^^^^^^^^^ Please read before posting. It gets annoying typing the same thing over and over because someone did not read it the first time.

Like I said before I should have asked to see pictures but at this point it does not really matter. And I was offerered a partial refund and turned it down. I still got the better end of the deal since there were other parts included in the sale.

I know it is not an rk sport brace. I knew that before I posted this. Thus why I did not once ask if it was an rk sport brace.

All I want to know is if anyone knows who made it.

i think the right question is:

why buy something that cost $70, if you can make it for $8????????

i dont know what is the whole drama about, a subframe brace is not a big deal, is just a metal brace, is not rocket science, the yellow one is good enough, so if you can do it better than that............ go do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sure, if you live on a piece of glass....... you ever see how low to the ground a brace like that will be? I cant remember ONE subframe I've seen w/o scrape marks on it from road debree/speed bumps/cats........ a brace like that probably wouldnt last a week, at least around here.

i made my own subframe brace...... tougher and alot stronger than any one you can buy for 70 bucks.... exact measurement of the bar is 1.75"x3".... with boxed in ends and 1/4" walls and all the highest grade bolts holding it to the frame, not to mention its welded right to the frame... you just gotta be aware when ur driving.... speically not to go on a road that is highest in the center adn dips down on both sides... heh

ive had the FX bar, and it doesnt even come close to comparing to the one i have now

I honestly don't mean to come off being a jerk but.... with ti welded on when you hit something it will really mess up your car. not to mention if you have a automatic it will make life difficult when it comes time to change your filter.
