I was just driving here down down town halifax,...and it started to snow...i dont drive my car in the winter but i needed somthing to drive for a few days, anyway...the roads were slick and i went to stop an the car just slid...and the abs kicked in like always...well about ten mins later i noticed the abs light on an the abs didnt work no more...so i parked an got a movie an then when i come out the light was off..i started to drive an again when stopping i sliped an the abs come on for a second and then the light poped on an now agaon no abs..
Has anyone had this happen. and if so what is the cause of this and or what can i do to fix it..
Think maybe you should slow it down a bit if you're sliding that much?
Sounds like a corroded or dirty connection to one of the ABS sensors.
i was oonly doing about 30kmh...all season tires aint worth a pooo
adjust your driving and braking to the conditions and i have had what your talking about happen to me also but i was in a parking lot messing around
its on all the time hnow when i hit the breaks,,ill have to bring it in an get it checked
Have you looked at any of the connections yet?
Your going to have to have your ABS module's code history read in order to deterine your problem.
