Ok, here's the deal... its late and I dont have time to search all over this forum for an answer (dont mean to be rude, but I got work at 8am, and I have limited internet access). What I'm lookin for is... I'm runnin 18" Rota's, and I wanna lower my car to the point of tucking to the top of the rim. Not the tire tread, but the lip of the rim. I know, that seems kinda extreme, especially since its a daily and whatnot. Now, I absolutely do NOT wanna use any kinda air ride crap. Its not an Impala or a gangsta ride. I wanna use some kinda tuner application. I'm almost certain that lowering springs wont stand a chance for what I'm lookin for, and from what I've seen, even Tein's SS set-up wont come down low enough. Does anyone know what I can use to accomplish this, or am I asking too much? BTW, I dont mind a bouncy, bumpy ride at all...

You're asking too much, and nobody in here would intelligently condone an improperly balenced setup. Not only are you not going to be able to find a spring/damper combination that gets you to that height, but you wouldn't be able to drive it anywhere. The first uneven road will scrape your chassis. It's just the way the car, fenders, and suspension are designed, you could get away with this far more easily with a BMW or VW, both who have longer fenders and deeper wheel wells.
Agreed. We wouldn't recommend some jerry-rigged setup if it existed to get what you're asking for. Also blantly telling us you're not going to do the reading isn't the best way to ask for help. I doubt very much that you'll be able to tuck rim with normal suspension.
the only way is air and by your ignorant comment about air, i know you know nothing about it.
The reason I wasnt gonna do the research at the time was 'cause I didnt have time to. It was like, 1am and I had to wake up at 7:30am. And the only time I can get on here is when I come here to my mom's. Between workin on my car, tryin to maintain my house and work, I dont have a whole lotta time to spend on here til I get my own comp and ISP. And I wasnt bein ignorant about the air-ride thing. I've seen what they can do performance-wise (they had an episode of Horsepower TV where they put it on a Camaro and it tore ass around the slalom). In fact, there's a red 4dr on here that is bagged or whatever, and it looks beyond sweet. Its just not the way I wanna go. My friend had it on his EG6 and bragged about how much better it was.. then about got us killed 10 minutes later. But then again, I'm not lookin to make this an autocross car. Cherubim was right, VW's are some of the best cars in the handling depart. I plan on making a '92 Jetta GLi my autocross project. But thats not what I'm here for now... it seems that everyone is at an agreement. It cant be done. I just dont know what to do.. I wanna eliminate ground clearance and at the same time, eliminate the wheel well gap.

You could try custom GC's. They'll make the springs shorter than normal for you. Be warned that you'll wear out ball joints, strut mounts, CVs, and who knows what else pretty quick (several thousand miles).
I hope you're not serious about a Jetta handling well by the way. Better than a J? Sure, but they have far form what I'd call "good handling".
Oh by the way, I tucked a significant amount of tire on stock wheels on my cav...probably couldve tucked a whole 40 series tire on 18s. And I'm telling you from experience, I was on Koni's and GC's and the ride still SUCKED.
I had an '89 VW Golf Mk2, and that thing handled like a roller coaster.. and I was on STOCK suspension. The Jetta has the same set-up as a Golf, so I dont see why one would suck and one wouldnt.. ?
I have 40-series tires on my 18's. What I originally did was cut my factory springs (yea, I know.. dumb). I took out 1 full coil, and it brough it down right to the top of the tire. I mean, I couldnt even get my pinky finger in between the tire and my fender. If I can come down maybe half an inch more, I'd be doin good. You think that Koni's and GC's will do it?
