Hijacker has them for the 1988-94 Cavalier/Sunbird, but not for later models. Anyone know of any other places to get these things?

Like bags or cylinders? Try Air Bag Source

Reason is the rear suspension setup is different between the 2 gens.

2nd gens have the spring between the trailing arm and the frame. 3rd gens are a "coil-over" design

But yeah, what CTS said.

I just want to raise the rear end of the car about 2 or 3 inches. Will those air bags work?

no not if your trying to raise the car. the easystreet bags dont go any higher than stock really and if you rode like that you would throw up lol. it would be the bumpiest ride. i dont think they understood what your talking about. your talking about shocks that alot of mini vans have that you fill up manually with an air line. they do not have those for 3rd gens. sorry

Well... not EXACTLY like that... I just mean having it's rear end in the air like the car in the picture. That was the way to be cool in the 70's. Jack up the back of your car.

Install drop springs in the front. That would make the rear look higher, and be the easiest solution. Although with different spring rates and strut stiffness the ride would be much different and probably suffer.

The best option would be to use a custom longer struts, and taller springs in the rear. There are companies that can make custom springs and shocks. It could get pricey, but this would be the safest and most reliable.

One more thing you could try, would be to custom fab a rear block, that would sit between the rear axel and the strut. This you would have to custom machine, but it would keep the stock spring rate and stock shocks. The concept would be like the lifting blocks used on trucks and suvs with leaf springs.

Get coilovers drop the front and leave the rear up. That way same spring rates and when you raealize how gay your car looks you can lower the rear without spending more money.
