like i said in the title i know this has been asked before and i searched but couldnt find the thread.

when i accelerate a humming noise is coming from the rear of my car and as i go faster, the humming gets louder and faster.

when i push the brakes, the humming stops.

what the hell could this be?

also i have brand new drums in back that were installed at a GM dealer like 3 months ago.

could be the drums could be the wheel worn or not balanced properly. Could be a number of things

Definately check the shoes, make sure they're adjusted properly. Could also be a wheel bearing, makes that sort of noise.
