Can any one help me on the install of coilovers are they just like springs? or is there welding at all? is it hard and my local auto parts store rents the thing to compress the springs is that all i need? or do they just slip on?

What brand? If it's a good brand like Ground Control or RK or something then it will be just as easy as springs. Just follow the directions. If it's some cheap eBay special, then good luck; I'll be impressed if you get it to work well.

You'll need the spring compressor to get the old spring off without blowing suspension parts all over the place (that's what allways happens to me anyway). The coil-overs can be put on without a spring compressor (at least all the kits I've seen).
