if you're going to use them in an application that's beyond their suggested limits why even waste your money? why not just use your stock struts?

this post = teh lame

do it right, or don't do it at all. for applications lower than 1.5" you should use koni yellows or tokico d specs.

but like zoinks scoob i can get kyb for uber cheaper! ruh roh shaggy, you wanna play you gotta pay...

first off i was asking a simple question i was just wondering i didnt need some little prick to come in here and be a dick. i already have some koni yellows jsut looking at my options couse i dont really want to have to cut my existing shocks to get them to work.

its easy as hell to do. why would you switch from koni to agx because you dont wanna cut your stock struts? thats like giving up a bmw for a ford festiva.

im sure the agxs will blow depending how low you take it and if they do blow your not gonna get another one since you voided their warrenty. to me it makes no sense why you would wanna do this

well look at it this way if your going lower than 1.5" just forget about agxs cuz if it blows your not getting another one. you already have koni yellows, one of the best struts out, use them

I'm using AGX's on a 1.6" drop. They are holding up fine with lots of abuse so far.

The biggest problem I see with using them on springs that go past their warranty limit is that the AGX's are too soft to dampen those high spring rates. You car would be extremely bouncy and may even become airborne (or at least traction) on larger bumps. That would be kinda dangerous.

Right now, the AGX's are maxed out with my H&R springs, so I would definatley NOT reccomend using them on anything with a larger drop or coilovers.

One of mine blew on me with my prokit, but i think it was flawed... I noticed the oil all over my trailing arm and rim like a week after install... i bought mine through advanced auto parts so i had my replacement a day later... i love having a lifetime warrenty through them. No dealing with KYB. No problems since then.

X2 I've got the exact same setup. I wouldn't use anything stiffer than H&R's.
