I searched through the archives and thoroughly read the FAQ but i couldnt find anywhere where is said what was needed for the agx install, i read somewhere where people needed a spacer or washer that wasnt provided by kyb to go on top of the front strut i think but i cant find that older thread, can anyone give the dimensions or what was used and exactly it fals into the reassembly when installing
On older AGX struts, they came from the factory missing the washer for the top of the strut. Newer ones will have the washer. If you bought your's off of ebay, and it is old stock, and it didn't come with a washer, then contact KYB and they will send you the missing washers.
mine came with the front strut, yellow adjuster screw driver, sticker and lock nut for the top, are they the old or newer ones?
i thought you only needed the spacer if you had the 2k+ mounts, is that right?

Not sure where the strut mounts changed, I beleive that it was 2000, but I know on my 97 I didn't need/want a washer/spacer... so if you are needing new strut mounts, can get that year... I believe they interchange.
I noticed my set had 2, is the other for the 2k+ setup then? My car's a 98.
had 2 of what... spacers? if so they are for the 2k+ mounts.

go to the hardware store and buy the highest grade washer you can get
done.

If you call KYB they will send them out that day and you'll have them much quicker. KYB customer service is great, from my experience.
