blown struts??

well i think i blew the struts in my 05 Z24 already and i only have 30,000kms on the car. every bump and pot hole is like running over a bolder. any suggestions for some new ones. im gonna be keeping the stock ride hight for a while but i want to upgrade.

both stock replacements...


kyb agx 300-350$ adjustable, but an step up from the other two...

if your going to upgrade in the future i would think about what you wanna upgrade to and buy the struts accordingly this way you dont have to waste money on struts you dont need down the road

cause i drive on the back road alot and there really rough in places. so by the time i upgrade to lowering they will be blow again.

AGXs blown by normal wear and tear, even back roads (assuming you don't bottom out and take it somewhat easy) will be replaced "free" (you have to ship them in) for as long as you own the car. Something to keep in mind.

AGXs are good, adjustable, and able to handle a 1.5" drop later on. The GR2s would work very well with the stock springs too. Never used Gabriels, Monroe Sensatracs are slightly better than stock. I found that the GR2s were alot better than SensaTracs.

I've got Sensatracs on my GAM, they are better than stock, but that's about it.
GR2s I think are better yet, but also have the lifetime warranty.
Either way they are not for a drop, so if you're going to drop later might as well get AGXs, they can handle up to 1.5" drop.
