im getting the xplozion body kit now instead of the blitz body kit and i was told i would be safe with the 1.1" drop tein springs and the agx struts. i would like the car lower but im not sure on how low this body kit will go w/o the lowering springs and struts. so if some one can infor me that would be great. and if you want to look at the body kit here is a picture of it...

if you got the tein coilovers then you could have the option of slamming it to the ground in nice weather for shows and cruising, or you could raise it up to keep from bottoming, thats probaly your best bet, the Tein SS coilovers are a little pricey, you can find them for around $800 ish, but they are bad a$$ let me tell you.

yea but their not meant to be riden around "slammed" all the time. no strut is up for the abuse of 2.5"+ drop unless you get bags

im sorry for all of those how love coilovers but they seem to me as if they would wear through tires like crazy ofr noobs... what would happen if you lowered one side more then the other? or raised one more the others? and i cant really slam them down around here... end of driveways are like 2 inches high and manholes dip down like 1 1/2 or so with gradial slops. so lowering it for driving is a big NO. then the car shows, i would have to lower it at the show once i stopped because the only one around here that excepts 17-18 year olds is the local riverfest... i would literally ripe the side skirts off the car. i have about an inch of ground clearence going into that field with out it lowered and no mods the the tires. Please no one tell me what coil-overs can do, plus my bro had them and he "slammed" them down took out the front bumper, sideskirts, and blew the two front struts... you should never lower the car more then 1.5" its just unsafe. And yes i am kinda *itchy because people dont get that the sturst and arms on our cars are not met to be lower that much for more then like just sitting there in the drive way or at a ca show. word of advice if you want to "slam" the car down get air suspention!!!

you can lower a car on coils lower than 1.5" and still be safe. if you know what your doing and what your buying then you'll be fine and no it wont wear your tires out. once you do a suspension you get an aligment so it wont wear your tires out. also once you lower your car, you have to know how to drive a lowered car. a lot of slopes you have to go up on at an angle or else you'll scrape the front of your car
