My hand brake does not work untill the very last notch is clicked. I know how to fix the problem, I just dont know where the cables meet the adjustment plate thing. Is it under the center console or under the car?

Ithe E brake is self adjusting, Its not supposed to be used as a hand brake, nor is it supposed to lock before that last click.

It doesnt work at all. It used to, but one day I parked my car, shut it off, and puled the hand brake up and heard a click and it doesnt work now untill the very last click of the hand brake. Im afraid that if I park on a hill and dont have it in gear then its not going to hold and just roll down the hill. I just want to adjust it to where it works and I wont be afraid of parking on hills while not in gear (remote start).

Its self adjusting. If it doesnt work right, time to replace the shoes in the rear drums.

The self adjuster is probably stuck. Pop open the console 4 or 5 bolts, I forget exactly now. Check it out.
