Are the 2.2L in the 94 cavaliers a good motor to boost if you build it.
People have had success boosting the LN2, and as far as gen 2s o, it's probably the easiest to boost. Might take a little work to make everything fit properly, but you could even just use the hahn kit. Makes decent power on an otherwise stock cav, but really needs bolt ons and stronger internals to make even 200 WHP.

I have boosted a 94 spec 2.2. You will need to find a way to deliver enough fuel to the engine. The stock injectors are nowhere near large enough, and there are no replacement injectors which drop in without some type of modification. You should look for "top feed conversion." My engine ran non-intercooled, 87 octane, 7.8 psi boost. It was still running when removed from the car several years after I added the turbo.
