92 auto sunbird easy ?'s help

ok picked up a beater for winter its a 92 auto sunbird with a 2.0 wow its slow nothing to my turbo awd talon but heres my ?"s any help would be great


will all parts exept engine parts from a z24 or caviler fit on my car like doors" hood"rims" and what years and other models will fit ?

also i dont think my steering wheel tilts is there a latch i cant find or something ?

how many mpg do these cars get ?

anything i should fix that isnt but will break soon ?

Almost every body part is interchangeable, although some require tiny modifications. Everything from 88-94 is fair game, with the older 82-87 stuff requiring more work. The basic unibody is the same.

You can swap to a tilt wheel, but you'll need to pull an entire column out of another car to do it.

Fixing beforehand......thats a good question. There really isn't too much on 2nd gen J bodys that is known to break with any great frequency. When it wears out, it wears out. The most common problem throughout the carline is probably rotting fenders and doors.

yeah my drivers side door is rusted clear threw at the bottom so i have to find a new one thanks for the help

ive been very lucky... there isn't a spec of rust on my car... and the under carrage has always looked emaculate...

yea that much rust on a 92....daym mine had none at all.
