Does anybody out there know if there is a dummy pulley to replace the A/C
pulley?
Is there a belt for a 3.1 v6 with out A/C?
If I have to use the A/C pulley, anybody know how to get the clutch apart so i can
rip all the guts out of the inside?
u need to get an idler pulley which goes under the water pump area then get a belt thats without a/c just go to the parts store and ask for the belt without a/c they should have it. then u can take all ur a/c stuff out.
is there anywhere i can get a idler pulley and is it a bolt on
or do I have to fab my own pulley ?
go into the parts store and order one they should have it listed as well, its a small ribbed pulley should be about 20 bux. Yes its a direct swap as well, tell them ur car and engine and they should get it no problem.

Is there a bracket that is needed to mount the idler pulley in place of the a/c compressor? Autozone has a belt that is for the 2.8 with out a/c. Does the whole accessory layout change if the engine doesn't have a/c?
i have to make a bracket i believe for my hybrid setup without a/c, but not for sure. could someone fill me in cause i've been told a few stories

go to the junk yard find a 2.8 without air and get the pully your block should have the threaded hole in it already not sure if all do you can buy a non ac belt for the 2.8
