GTZ24 update - Body Repair

Well since I havent posted on here in a long while, I guess I'll use up some bandwith and be a pic whore. So my Jbody was having an issue with the door jambs. However, after grinding down the rust, it was just all surface rust. I used my trusty angle grinder, a dremel w/ grinding stone, and some sand paper to take car of the rust. So I didnt have to use bondo, weld in more metal etc. After I ground out all the rust, I wet sanded it with 220 and 400 grit to get it smooth. I then used some acetone to make the surface clean, and then I busted out my POR15. I bought six 4 oz cans off of ebay. It was like 33 shipped. I barely used a fraction of a can to fix both sides. So this stuff should last me a while.

Tomorrow I am going to remove the side door ding trim and make more progress on the Z skirts. After the POR15 finishes drying, Im going to wet sand it a bit and lay down some primer. However, Im going to leave everything taped off and not get overspray on everything.

Now for the pics...
