Rebuilding a 2.2 vs. 3.1swap in a 94 RS

Long story short, the 2.2 in my wife's auto 94' RS is drowning on coolant. The head's probably warped & it's got almost 200K on it.

I've got a spare 3.1 out of a 93' Lumina that's in mechanically sound condition that I'd bought for my Cutlass. What else would I ned to put the 3.1 in her RS besides the following?

Flywheel(I think the 2.2 & the 3.1 share a common flywheel, correct me if I'm wrong)
Motor mounts
PCM
Engine wiring harness
Manifold to cat ex. pipe
Intake assembly

TIA

Hmm...that looks about right....I'm sure something is missing, looking at it - it just
isn't hitting me...Dammit!

Where's my @#%^*in repair book....

I considered a 3.1 with my first cav w/2.0....wasn't that much to replace either..

its pretty much the entire engine bay.

motor, tranny, ecm, wiring harness, axles, rad, downpipe, mounts, fuel lines ect.

the reason i say trans is the 2.2l auto isnt gonna hold up to a 3.1l yes they are both th125 transmissions, however the 3.1l is built stronger and has a different stall converter.

Radiator & hoses, the V6's inlet/outlet are reversed top to bottom from the 2.2L.

All belt driven accessories (if the Lumina's engine didn't come with any)

Axles (beefier for the V6)

BTW, thought I was reading CSi for a second when I saw the screen name.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. The Isuzu trans gets used in V8 Fiero swaps and lives if it isn't abused too often. I'm using an Isuzu trans in my car with my turbo 2.2 and it's holding up well enough.

I wonder why I thought that....

I knew I'd get a response that was more helpful than the "set it on fire" response I'd have gotten on CSi.

So it looks like I'm going to be setting it on fire after all.

just drop the subframe and do it all like that. lol. then rebolt it. it'll be so much easier!

the 4cyl to v6 swap is alot of work, but its all bolt up... being as the v6 was an option.
