are any body parts swappable with the 2nd gen version of my car? I have an 87 cavy and i wanted the phase 1 or 2 2nd gen front end if possible...
Yeah it bolts right on, my car comes factory like that only the opposite, I have a second gen sunbird with a first gen front end, they made the SE and GT sunbirds like that in 88 and 89.
actualy, its not quite a bolt on. my buddy did an 87 z24 front onto his 90 z24. he had to cut out some metal, holes in the fenders didnt line up, little thing like that. its not hard to adapt peices onto it, but its not a direct swap.
Hey, so is there a way i can fit a body kit for like an 87-88 'bird on my '85 sunbird hatchback? or will i have to 'glass my own?

side or the same for 2 door from 82 to 94, so yes you can fit side from 87-88 the side would fit your 85 ,rear you will must likely have to glass your own or used 87z24 rear bumper
front if you swap for 2gen you will be able to used any kit available for 2 gen
