So last Sunday I had my Mustang and 84 Cavalier at the local car show. Started to sprinkle so I put up the top and all 4 power windows at the same time.
Smoked fusible link wire B that comes off the starter motor 12V connection. This feeds everything in the car except headlights, cigarette lighter and interior lights.

Anyone have the 2 wire Y harness that comes off the starter 12V supply? I would only need about 12 inches of this harness.

Good old Ron to the rescue. Gave me a good idea for the repair. He already did the fix on his 85.
