I have been doing a bit of research about which engine to swap into my 87. I am already planning on pretty much a full teardown so I am kind of leaning towards the 3500 LX9.
Have any of y'all that are still on here swapped the LX9 into an OBD1 car? And if so, how difficult was it to tune the computer to run it efficiently? I'm less concerned about getting it all to fit and work mechanically, but tuning the computer will be completely new to me.

Probably the best place to get info on upgrade swaps is on the V6Z24 site. A lot of members on there have done the High output upgrades and are ready to share knowledge.

Just about everyone on here is keeping jbodys going in stock form.
