Does anyone know how much a 1984 Cavalier automatic transmission weighs?
145 lbs is all I can find............

Put it on a scale to get exact weight. 155lbs with tranny fluid and brackets.
Ok, John, now I am wondering how you got that transaxle on a scale.....
Did you just pick it up and set it on there?
All I know is when they park one of them in the trunk at a boneyard you can't budge 'em!!

Orlen, Wrapped the scale with a clear trash bag and then placed an old towel on the scale and muscled it on there.
