So here it is, the equivalent of the coelacanth in first gen J-Body parts...
The Cadillac Cimmaron only plush lined golve box:
Cadillac style baby... Now that I think about it, this car was the forerunner of the Catera, then CTS, albeit with a few improvements
. It was before its time.
That is cool and probaly cuts down on the noise from the stuff rolloing around in glove box( tire lock thingy ) Thnks for psting pictures.

Looks nice Paul. If Keith does not want it or you don't want to keep it, shoot me a price.
Thanks,
John
Im good John if he whants to sell it to you I know there is a cimmaron at jacks(not a convertible white with burgandy interior) But it needs to warm up for me to go there last trip I ended up swimming my way out . Im 6ft and it was up to my chest there is also a first gen cav convertible brown dont recall interior 2 or 3 sunbirds one looks good but could not get to it do to flooding .its up high but the area around is a swamp should dry out in spring.

I'm going to have to get over there. Haven't been to Jacks in years. That the yard down in NC that Ron posted the pictures of looks like a clean organized place compared to yards up here.
Its is a challenge every time I go there and they just don't want to help there is a sun bird with the air baffel I need but is up to the floor boards sunken into the muck no way to jack it up to get it off .
I'm hoping the one thats up in the air will still be there in spring . The nice part is it always cost $25.00 no matter what or how much I bring to the counter .

We have one really well organized place by me. It is called Parts Galore. They charge you a buck to get in and prices are posted and you pull your own. The cars are in rows and sections by manufacturer, and up on welded rim stands for accessability. One downside is no jacks or torches. Another downside is most of the cars are donations and the yard follows that life cycle. They keep the cars for a few months until the whole row is picked, and then they crush and shred em. Most of our first-gens have already gone through that process so when they show up there, it is a happy day for me.
No mine came from New Mexico and Colorado

Apparently, all the rich Corinthian leather had been skinned and shipped to MoPar already...:-) Nice find! Beats the crap out of my Cav genuine copy of fake plastic glovebox!
(Quoting a past member)-"Never underestimate a First Gen"
that is funny, I can hear Ricardo saying it now blah blah "Rich Corinthian Leather" blah blah "Chrysler Cordoba"... That was before I knew he was Khan from Star Trek!!!
Thanks Orlen - ROTFLMAO, memory lane...
John-
The prize is on its way...
