Shooting for perfectio, one part at a time...
Way to Go Paul!! Strut Bar looks factory , and I really like the charge pipe there, looks much better that the red one :-)
"Shooting for perfectio, one part at a time..." , like how that rolls off - you might have just invented you a motto there!!
Just finished installing a different speedo w/tripometer in the Pontiac today. Removed the odo and reset it to the same milage as was in the origional speedo. Tried the complete cluster in the car with all the extra guages, but nothing would work, but at least I gave it a shot. Found the missing plug to the TCC plug for the lockup clutch when I was replacing the Rack, so I hooked it up today too wile I had the wheels up testing the speedo (fingers crossed) at least the clutch didn't stick. Got plenty of picts and might post in a few days when I get a chance.

Orlen-
I like the pics. That is the highest optioned non-turbo cluster I have ever seen. My car does not have a volt meter in the cluster. I have a light that comes on on the right side of the speedo when I need a new alternator
. Did you replace all of your light bulbs when you were in there - or are you planning on going back in?
The shop manual has the wiring for all of those gauges if you want to reference it. I could send you some scans if you would like. You should be alble to light them all up
I have had the strut bar for a while, I pulled it off of a Z24 a few years ago - that drove me to have to move my washer bottle, which caused me to move my turbo timer and fan relays.
I think AC is going to make a comeback this summer.
The items pdr ctd look very freaking pretty.I def like the turbo pipe much better!Looks umm more factory and fits the overall appearance.Upgrading anything on our old js is super nice to get it back to well almost new condition.Nice upgrades buddy.
as time permits I am thinking of the cam carrier (silver), the alternator pulley and t-stat neck (gloss black) and various other little parts gloss black. My 84 is a ziebart car, so that undercoat is not going anywhere. I will just use it as a backdrop and pretty up everything in front of it

Them's some rare guages there Orlen
Just be sure if you ever sell the car to mention about changing the speedo & odometer otherwise you could end up in a heap of trouble.
