My 84 Sunbird floods out sometimes, especially when its freezing cold out or if the car has sat for a ling time.

I've had this happen before and simply pulled the fuse for the fule pump and cranked the engine to clear the fuel.
When I replaced the fuse, the car fired right up.

Now, I can't remember which fuse to pull, and I can't locate my manual now.

Does anyone know which fuse to pull?

its TBI, right? Can't you uplug the fuel injector for the same effect?

Would unplugging the injector stop fuel from dumping?
I would rather pull a fuse anyway, especially if it is 20 below or raining.

I had a TBI 86 Skyhawk back in the day. I had a problem with the car being hard to start when cold. The tow truck guy unplugged the injector as he was already under the hood. This stuck with me...

OK, I'm a little confused here...

I'm looking at my owners manual from the original Hawk (1984), page 6-4, and of the 18 fuses, none show for fuel pump.

What I can find that may do the job you want is:

"choke heater", yellow #20, in the corner next to another yellow #20 for tail lamps.

There are also two red #10 for the ECM (I guess they either work together and GM had extra reds laying around, or it is a redundant system to prevent breakdowns), located as the two reds next to the previously mentioned yellows.
