My antenna wire was damaged at some point over the last 8 years. Have any of you replaced your antenna? Besides the mast I am sick of drifting on and off stations when I am not playing the vintage cassettes or running the MP3 line.

Looks like a little bit of a PITA to do.

Paul, you could do something like the Hidden Antenna to avoid having to mess with snaking wires through the fender, etc. It would sit behind the radio under the dash somewhere you've got room. I've been thinking about this for my 76 Chevy truck since its got a 'windshield' antenna that sucks. They're cheap, too. JC Whitney sells them too I think.

Will these work in the dash? I had heard that metal blocks them.
