No compression check yet, but I did the paper test over the open oil cap and it blows off, indicating I have a leak
. I was trying to dial in timing on a blown head gasket.
Looks like I will finish up my brake work in time to tear her down again...
I feel for you. Found out I spun a rod bearing on mine. I want it on the road and can't get it rebuilt soon enough. Local u wrench had half off last saturday, I picked up a 2.0 block for 40 bucks so I'll do a temp swap for the summer.
anyone know where to get 1.8 t pistons and rods, or if I go 50 over can I use standard 2.0 pistons
