Hi, finally my car is getting his second makeover, the first one was in 2000 ( from red to Yellow ), and now in 2009,you'll
find out the new color when I post the pic, bye the way, it wasn't any of the 3D renders I posted here before.
I hope they'll do a good job, it's not the same place I went the first time, they were just too expensive and
right now I don't want to spend that much, in this place I saw some cool classic cars looking very good.
Fixing the rust from the top of the windshield and on the lower part
of the door:
Getting primered
and some other cars that they have there:
a Jaguar
Two Corvettes
a Ford Falcon
and a Challenger

So, how long do we have to wait for the new color? BTW, that's a Charger...
you are right Closer9, it's a Charger.
They told me this friday is going to be ready, although
I don't want to get too excited, maybe 50/50 that they'll
be on time.

Looks like great progress. The anticipation must be killin ya!
Now get Jessica S in her daisy dukes (as she was 3 years ago) out of that Challenger and into your Cav!
finished =), I just have to comeback in two weeks and they'll polish it.
I'm happy with the results, everything came exactly how I asked,
I made the 3d renderings from every angle and they use them as
a reference.
I was a bit scared the color wouldn't be as I wanted, it is Campanella weiss from VW,
and the charcoal is Gris Zenith from the spanish automaker SEAT.
I saw the car before they applied the clear coat, and it looked so beige,
and was so relief today that I went to pick it up.

Sweet! Turned out great! Now I feel like I need to get my old faded silver repainted something cool...

Any larger pics of this one? I need a new wallpaper :-) and now you can get my car painted right?
I want it a dark grey color, really glossy. I like flat black but it leaves hard to wash grime some times, like grease, antifreeze, leave marks and smears on it.. :-(
I already had one done, here it is, it's kind of charcoal,
when I have a little more time I can do another render from
other angle

hey thats freaking sweet thanks!
Cool! What do you use to do that? I wouldn't mind seeing my little Buick in something other than faded silver...
Thanks, I use 3d Studio Max and Vray. I modeled it so I could make a choice
with the color, it was almost 2 years ago I think.
I made a bunch, blue with white, solid black, green..
The guys at the shop use them while painting it, they had it printed and
stuck to the wall.
