You cant swap rear ends.... as far as I know maybe you mean something else

it can be swapped. adam (njhk) swapped his fire end for the newer 03 end.

I actually wanna do this same swap soon. Kandace, if you've done your research, can the trunk lid itself stay on the car as long as you switch the center portion (with the reverse lights) out? The lids to me look exactly the same between the two model years.
