so I took the cav to get inspected on friday and apparently our retarded govenor recently passed a law that you are not allowed to have ANY writing on your windshield at all even if its above the AS1 line because according to the inspector guy she saw something she didnt like on a windshield somewhere...they made me go out in the parking lot, scrape off my streettrenz banner and come back through which was a total waste of time and really pissed me off...are there laws like this in other states? Its not really that big of a deal that I had to take it off cuz I can just get another one buuuuuuuut I think its kinda stupid that the guy told me you are allowed to have tint on the windshield but not writing

well maybe they are thinking the writing can cause accidents when other drivers try to read it? in NY as long as it's 6in and higher from the roof/windshield line ur good

The guy tried to give me a hard time about my STOCK CORNERS too...I was so close to opening the trunk, pulling out my clear corners that I had just taken off and being like look idiot the ones on the car are STOCK...man am I glad I dont have to deal with that BS for another 2 years

Even if your have your window's tinted the LEGAL limit.. you STILL need to get a Waiver from the Doctor to pass.. i had to do it in my dad F-150. they failed me of that.. but my mom wears glasses.. so she got a waiver..
well in Maine they screen your vanity plates for anything that might offend someone... maybe its the same idea. I mean freedom of speech is one thing, but forcing others to look at something profane and offensive by displaying it on their vehicle everywhere they go. Makes sense to me. I'm sure you will get over it just as quickly as the inpsection officer forgets about you when you drive off. I don't think, of all the things people complain about with inpsections, that this one is all that big of a deal. They weren't asking you to scrap a $300 tint job off.

exactly. i agree. that isnt offensive at all. but maybe a banner that say "I like to rape wives, kill babies and throw dead puppies at retards" is... but it wouldnt be entirely fair to make the windshield banner maker guys screen your requests and turn down business, instead they made ALL of em illegal for the reason of avoiding any offensive ones. that is just my idea on why your completely retarded governer may have put that law into effect. you old enough to vote? toss her ass outa there then
