Well I got a surprise 4 day weekend starting tomorrow. So who wants to meet up and where? My only stipulation is that I have an appointment on Saturday.

Were at the shop sat 10:30-4pm. Not sure what were doing yet, prolly goofin around as usually and making some intakes or dealing with some projects. I'll be there, so will chris.
I'd bring my car out but I'm stuck waiting for superbrightleds.com to send me my damn package of @!#$ so i can put my dash back in the car. I don't feel like taking it out again since i have everything painted now. Still if you want to join us for the day, your welcome to and so is anyone else.
I'll also be going to the Pick n pull in auburn for some @!#$ i need to get that i refuse to pay GM pricing for. $4 for a lock washer for a tail lense assembly.... Bullll Sh it!

lol cody. I'll talk to the wife about going down there. I was talking to Chris about getting my fuel rail polished anyway... I got a fuel pressure gauge rubbing the hood and don't know if I want to chance making the 2 hour trip one way.
Right now I got the car up on stands waiting for the engine to cool so I can get these motor mounts in.

[/rant] Installing motor mounts is easy! Just use a 15mm socket and they come right off! RIGHT! Stupid lower and upper is on there tight as F#@& and I can't get them off! Maybe I'm being a P#@@Y but all the WD-40 in the world would not loosen them with a regular ratchet![/rant]
Whew that was fun... I think my car is getting back at me for not being worked on for 16 months... well today wasn't a total lost. Got the nitrous back in and all the gauges.

I'm fighting with my toyo tail lights. I had 2 tabs break off on me on the inner passenger lamp and its been a nice struggle trying to get it to work. Still haven't gotten it right yet with all the epoxy i used and way of holding them in place to no rotate while being wrenched on. If that doesn't work, i am going to clean cut the tabs off my stock ones and glass them to the toyo ones..... ugggh.
.... since no one has a spare inner and i don't want to have to downgrade to a shaved trunk yet.
Okay no more working on the car... I've spent way too much since i got home and the car is putting up a really good fight. So after I hand polished a spare fuel rail I went to install the new one... well the freaking quick connect retainer broke. I've been everywhere (except NAPA and the dealership, going today) and cannot find another one. I'm tired of this crap.

Time for some SS braided fuel lines. Break out that double flaring tool and go at er man! When i change my fuel filter again, thats what i am going to have to do. Quick connet? piece of pure junk when they age. Nothing but brittle plastic.
Thats the problem...It's not plastic... mine are cheap metal. I really hate cast aluminum.
