The bar I do karaoke shows for in Essex has a good deal going on for the Ravens games every week...
First, we set up a 130" HD widescreen projection TV. Yes, one hundred thirty inches. No typo. The screen is ten feet wide and seven feet high. Football is awesome this big. When they zoom in for a first down measurement the ball itself is like 8 feet across. In HD, it looks like film even at that large screen size.
Then, the bar has happy hour drink prices and 1/2 price appetizers for the whole game. The manager is working on a free buffet for future games.
Game time is at 1pm every week (except the Thursday night game November 30th), and pre-game starts at noon (7pm for the night game). Get there early, as it's usually a pretty packed house by the end of the first quarter. All this happens at JAD's Caddyshack at 137 Back River Neck Road in Essex, MD.
