Alrite guys. Selling my 1996 Pontiac Sunfire Se. About a week ago the bearings(so i was told) went and now the engine is done. I am selling the car now for what i can get lookin for best offer. It is 1 1996 Sunfire Black the engine is still intact. The interior is in great conditon the tranny is good and shifts fairly well the clutch and brakes have some wear but they still good. Theres a little rust around the tire well. but not a lot. theres a couple scuffs on the backbumper dont kno what its from but were there when i got the car. The spoiler needs repainting. Now the engine isnt tottally bad. I have a rebuilt head with new valves. Theres a new alternator. I have a new waterpump and thermostat that will be included with the car. Theres an older sony cd player in it(not sure what year) the antenna is not hooked up but isnt hard to do. Also there are no back speakers. Werent any when i bout it and never put any in ive done fine with the front ones. All electrics work. Ill post up pics with in the next couple of days. Lookin for a good offer. I also might have a Throttle Body Injected 2.2L Head for sale willin to let it go for cheap. It never made its way onto the sunfire. Any questions please ask. Im in the springfield, MA (413) area if anyone wants to set up a meeting to check it out.

It seems like someone should buy this car and part it out. I would part it out except themain problem is i cant get another car until i get rid of this one (it has to be outta the driveway) So although id make some money off of it the car would still be in my drive way. if someone is gonna buy it to part it out i can leave my driveway for the wonderful price of 600 (IM HIGHLY NOT SET ON THIS PRICE....THATS JUST THE MAX THAT ID ASK FOR IT! I AM VERY NEGOTIABLE AND WILLIN TO LET IT GO FOR CHEAPER!) SEND AN OFFER.

a buddy of mine needs a car and i have a crashed 97 cav with a 2.2 that only has 65k miles. where are you located? my stepsister needs a car too and her dad is good with mechanic work. he built up a roadrunner for uder 10 thousand bucks and just got appraised for just under 30 thousand. location is the biggest issue.

waitin 4 a friend to get ack to me otherwise. if you want to come pull it ill help. id say $300 for whatever you need for the engine except i need the alternator. its been parked for a while but the engine ran mint when it was parked. i need to go back to it (its parked at my grandmas house) to pull off a few things anyway and plan on putting a battery in to see if it will start ok again.

Wow. We would make a good team lol. If we could find a body man...I suck at electic work in cars but i love the engine work. even though im more use to working on V8's rather then 4 bangers. But its basicly all the same. Ya before i make the trip and buy the engine i want to make sure the engine still runs so if you can do that for me. NP with the alt. i got a new one to use. umm. Ive never pulled a engine out of a car but it will be a learning experience. do you have a engine hoist or something so we can pull the engine out? We'll continue to tlk about this as it goes on and more info comes along.

yes actually the place it is located has an oversized 2 car garage and last time i was there there was 2 engine hoists but my whole family uses it so they may have borrowed 1. i can make sure we have at least 1 if you want to go throuh w/ it. i should be able to gt up there by wednesday. i need the resistor from the hvac blower controls anyway. and the alternator after i verify that it will run good. should be good. my dad helped me prep it before storage. i wish i had the $$ or i would have bought the fire off of you. if it was put together w/ my engine i could make some cash off selling it. nut im pretty broke so i hope i can at leas help by getting you a motor.talk to you soon.
