Looking For Help To Install The Motor.....
Saturday, September 09, 2006 9:12 AM
I need help starting monday (sept 11) putting my new motor in. I'd like someone with previous J experience removing and replacing motors/trannies.

I do not have a hoist or TQ wrenchs although I have a friend who is possibly letting me borrow his hoist.

Please call me and let me know if you'd be available starting monday, thanks

With the correct tools, it should not take more than 1 day to get everything back in the car, then you plug all your wires in and start the car.

Id offer to help you philbert, but I'm just a tad to far.... plus I'm prolly no good of help anyway, since I would not know what I would be doing

You can do it all by yourself! Just make sure to have a load leveler cause that will save your life more then you will ever know. I put my 2.3 back in my 95 by myself, and didn't hurt anything. Just make sure to go down slow and adjust the leveler as much as you need the first time instead of sayin' it will clear! I would help bro, but I have a new guy starting Monday. Good Luck...

Ide love to fellas, but apparently people like to conceal problems so other people run into them ... so the car is in the machine shop for a few days.
