Two weeks from today ( Saturday) the event is being held at the New York State fair grounds in Syracuse, NY. Same Location as the Syracuse Nationals. Both events are put on by the Right Coast association.

I will be there with my team "607 Motorsports" www.607motorsports.com. I'm not sure the Cavy is gonna make it or not, i hope so but the blown tranny is still in shambles and i'm fishing around for another one, also waiting on my clutch and fly to get here. Fingers are crossed for sure.

Your more than welcome to join us as anybody else who feels compelled to join us are. We are going to be there very early in the morning to get in line to get the prime parking spots. We both have pre registered so we be through the gates quickly. Anyone else will have to mess around with the reps when you arrive since pre registration is now closed. I believe they said Gate 7 to enter. See ya all there...
Damn. Didn't realize that preregistration ended the 15th. That sucks.
Edit: Well, I just registered on the website and it went through, so hopefully I am preregistered and there are no problems.

I'm not sure if I am going to Nopi or not. I want to, but I havent been working much lately and Im going to SCTB, so I'm low on cash. IT is $30 for preregistration, which is now closed. I think it's an extra $10 the day of.

When me and chris came out to Mark's house to pick up a few things, it took us i think 1hr and 45mins going 75-80 down the thruway and we left from his parents house which is like not even 5 mins from the fair grounds so a little under 2 hrs. Its basically a straight shot off the thru way too, to get to the fair grounds. Just get off at the 690 exit for Baldwinsville and head south on 690 and that will put you right in front of the fair grounds like 5 min after you exit the thru way.
If you want, you should still be able to pregeister. rightcoastcars.com is the site. I did it today and it still worked.

Get there bright an early and I don't forsee that being a problem. Seeing the gates open at 8am.. I will probably be there at 7:30am or sometime close to then. We will have to enter at gate 7, then everyone sets up around Chevrolet Court which is basically right inside gate 1 which all the people enter through. I don't think we can really "save" spots for other cars since people roll in all morning. More towards the show date we should try and figure this out a little better.
yea deffinitly like maybe we can meet up somewhere like around 730 that morning and roll in together im not sure but i think my other friends are gonna show too but ill have to see what they are doing
Only thing you late commers are going to struggle with is registration. A few of us have already preregistred and we should be able to roll right on through the gates and Right Coast reps. to go claim our spots while ppl who haven't will need to fork over $40 and fill out some paper work i do believe. This is my first year showing my car, but i was there last year and hung with the RDFAB guys including chris since i didn't think my car was show worthy last year, but the location they had last year was really good. Right in front of the New channel 3 or 5 booth for the fair. It was away from the croweded dyno and the punk kids, but still in the center of attention. So who knows, we'll figure it all out.
Ok here is some updated info for you guys...
I got my pre-registration info goodness today in the mail. Here is the low down for everyone going etc...
Registration hours are as follows..
July 28 ( friday) 3pm-8pm
July 29 ( saturday) 8am-8pm
Show hours: July 29th ( sat) Spectator gates : noon-2am
Cars can start enterting at 8am @ gate #7
To avoid entry delays, no admittance to fairgrounds without windshield pass in place and personal entry ID(s)
All vehciles on show grounds must be licensed, insured and registered for the event. Scooters, skateboards, mini motorcycles, bikes, golf carts, etc will not be allowed.
I will be going down friday afternoon to pick up my windshield sticker and admission credentials.

^^^Well, the show goes on 'til 2am but in the past they asked the cars to come inside where the concert is (after dark)
I got word today that my turbo is ready and completely rebuilt. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that I can get the side skirts fixed and car running well enough to make it in!!!
