Jeffy and I agreed on the 27th, and PJ (I think) agreed as well. 27th works great because the 20th is HIN (and my birthday!). Make it the 27th and I'll be there for 2 meets IN A ROW!

yea 27th is the best for me.. the 20th is an NHRA event and a supra meet in cliffwood
so 27th sounds the best...
also I'll be working on new logos and what not I'll be posting what they look like soon..

Well the 27th is no good for me. I have a race that day. If I get out early enough I will debate about coming over. But don't expect me to be there 100%. The other bad weekend for me is the 13th. Since the 20th is bad for a couple of you I guess majority rules and you guys can have fun on the 27th.

needless to say my coilover is at a 45° angle to where it should be. but i think it has something to do wtih the control arm. ill post pictures later. my poor toby

little closer, i ripped my front lip off too in the process.
this is a straight on shot...in other words, that coilover SHOULD be vertical.
i ran a 15.9 with 3/4 of a suspension. ...somehow. im lucky im not dead. it completely broke..whatever broke, when i got to the end of the track, but my car was pulling left and right back and forth the whole way after the 1/4 mile
and thats the end of my sad story. i'll post pictures it later when i get the wheel off, and let everyone know what actually happened.

there's a salvage yard in her zip code that I just called that will have anything we need.
Toby will be back on its feet by the end of the day, altho more likely than not on stock suspension until we can get a replacement coilover in the mail from Gravana.
I haven't seen the damage yet, but I'm stealing rich's camera and will post our findings and forensic analysis of what went wrong / what cause the failure.
ps. looks like we'll be putting mandy's a-arm bushings in today too
my guess right now is violent wheel hop tore the a-arm a new one... not sure if the strut mount failed or not yet since it looks liket he coilover is bent into a pretzel.

i can't believe that with all the half-assed, cobbled together @!#$ that me, pj, and rich have sometimes collectively done to our cars, that YOU are the first one to get towed home from atco.

just got off the phone with Gravana Jim himself
he said he'll work with me n mandy as far as the replacement coilover cost goes and when we find out what parts we actually need, we're looking at about 5 business days for shipping from Cali to NJ
we'll also finally be getting the small collar we never got when the coilovers were first installed! SWEET
so all in all the stage is set for Toby to make the road to recovery a smooth, quick and somewhat easy one.
A couple afternoons, a few hundred bucks and the car will be good as new
