Personally, I liked the whole garage sale idea, but we all can't have what we want. I personally bought quite a few things and sold a couple 2 on here. But, that's neither here nor there. We do have an events forum as well, shouldn't the local happenings go there instead? If u wanna get technical... Or just wanna b a dick about it...
