OK let me try to explain this better. I'm prolly going to get this locked again, and banned but I'm really trying to help out.

THE MONEY CANNOT BE SENT TO THE CAMP DIRECTLY. IT MUST BE SENT TO THE ORGANIZATION IN CHARGE OF THIS BENEFIT DINNER. I will have the address later today for them. I am collecting Saturday night at a meet and wasn't going to get the address til Sunday to send out, but if its that important to get this post, can I please have until the end of the day for this post to get relocked. If I don't have this address and information you may lock this post again. I will have full contact information, phone number, contact name, address etc. I was in a rush when I threw this post up and haven't had a chance to get full information. I wasn't worried since I thought I'd just be sending money next week. But then I threw this up on a few forums to see who would help out. I'll get direct contact information....PLEASE let this stay open til the end of the day.....I will have your complete info.

I am looking here to see if anyone would be willing to give donations. The following is from my friend Brad about a benefit dinner that he is doing at his school. This is not a project or and assignment but rather he and a few friends decided to organize this to raise money for a good cause!! Please let me know if anyone would be interested...even a few bucks would help out! Thanks guys!


Camp Sunshine...
Please take a few minutes to actually read this - VERY IMPORTANT....
I just wanted to let everyone know that a few of my college friends and myself are putting together a Benefit Dinner for Camp Sunshine. If you are not aware of what Camp Sunshine is its a Camp in Maine that has the distinction of being the only program in the nation whose mission is to address the impact of a life-threatening illness on every member of the immediate family the ill child, the parents, and the siblings. Families with a child diagnosed with diseases such as Cancer, Kidney Disease, Lupus, Organ Transplants and other illnesses attend one of the week long camps. The focus is on alleviating the strain that a life-threatening illness takes not only on the sick child, but on the whole family.

This event is going to be non-profit with all money going to benefit the camp. In addition to the dinner there will also be a silent auction.

The dinner is next Thursday april 6th – at this point what we need is people to make monetary contributions. Every little bit helps so don’t think that if you can only donate $10 or $20 its not worth it. Just think of it this way if 100 people donated $15 that alone would be enough to sponsor a sick child and his/her family to go to the camp for a full week – and do what a kid should be able to do, have fun, play with others and enjoy life.


So PLEASE HELP US RAISE AS MUCH MONEY AS WE POSSIBLY CAN FOR THIS AMAZING ORGANIZATION.


The camp website is below, but the donations will not be sent there. I believe there are select families they are funding this for. You can either send the money to me or to Brad. I will have exact address where you can send it from from him later in the day. This money needs to be collected before the dinner and will be given out at the dinner to the families in need as well as to the camp.
